Pelin is a journalist for 23 years. She graduated from Journalism Department, Faculty of Communications, Marmara University. She started her career at Dünya daily in 1994. She worked for Intermedia Group, Günaydın daily, Doğan Group, Star daily and Vatan daily. She was a member of the editorial team of Taraf daily, respectively as an editor, a columnist and the chief of economy service between the years 2007-2015. She covers environmental issues including climate change, ecology and energy politics since 2009. She was also a columnist for Today’s Zaman daily. She hosts a radio program called Economy&Ecology at Açık Radyo. Her articles are published on Independent Journalism Platform P24 (platform24.org). She is a columnist for haberdar.com.
