During school, she worked in Buğday Association as a volunteer project assistant, production planning assistant in Greif factory, strategic planning and project improvement assistant in Anadolu Medical Center and some other part-time jobs. She founded “Innovation and Entrepreneurship Community” in the university and worked as an organisational support volunteer for the seminars and conferences such as; WebIT, TedxReset, Turkey Innovation Week, Innovatıon Expo.
She had best time of her life in Barcelona and when it was not enough, she joined to two youth projects and gave herself a mini Balkans and Africa tour as a gift. Time passed by and awakening from the dream world, she joined the young, unemployed army.
Born in 1989, Alkan has a bachelors degree in Industrial Engineering. She still is looking for a job while working in Common Ground preparations: an NGO related project, a field she had been interested in all her life.
