Burcu Gündüz Maşalacı

Burcu Gündüz Maşalacı received her BS and MS degrees from Middle East Technical University, Department of Political Science and Public Administration. Her graduate studies focused on the changing boundaries of Corporate Social Responsibility and restructuring of the systems of regula-tion. She started her career at the YADA Foundation, working on the social impact assessment and monitoring-evaluation of CSR and capacity-building projects. She, then, served as the Repre-sentative Coordinator of the TEMA Foundation. In 2008, she joined the Istanbul Private Sector Of-fice of the United Nations Development Programme. From 2008 to 2010, she managed the Life Plus Youth Program on behalf of the program partners Coca-Cola Turkey and UNDP. Between 2010 and 2015, she worked in the largest company of Turkey, Koç Holding, as the Corporate So-cial Responsibility Specialist and then the CSR Manager. In 2015, Burcu joined AÇEV as the Man-ager of the Institutional Development Department in order to develop and coordinate strategical planning process and national and international research and advocacy efforts of the foundation.
