Aygen Erkal completed her high school education in Kadıköy Anatolian High School and then graduated from Istanbul Technical University, Department of Metallurgical Engineering. She received her MBA degree from University of Nottingham, UK. Between 1989 and 2010, Erkal assumed the Assistant General Manager role within Masan Makine Company in automotive industry. In 2010 she started working in Association of Turkish Construction Material Producers (Turkiye IMSAD) as Business Development Coordinator. Since 2013 she is the Secretary General of the association.
